| Burlington High School Meets Spain | Burlington High School (BHS) was privileged enough to partake in an exchange trip with the Lázaro-Cárdenas in Collado-Villalba, Spain, for two weeks. Students were selectively admitted into the program, reviewed for their knowledge of the language, aspiration to experience the culture, and the curiosity for a foreign adventure. During these weeks, students lived with hosts- their incredibly hospitable and loving new families- and experienced the culture firsthand through the life of a peer. Mira Mehdi, a senior at BHS and an aspiring photographer/film maker, captured her groups’ experiences through a visual collection of exotic travels, delicious food, and enriching friendships.
